Air Labrador awarded "Food Mail" contract by Canad

Air Labrador has been awarded a multi-year contract by Canada Post to transport mail to communities in the Big Land. The contract begins on November 1st. Air Labrador will transport all classes of mail including food mail to all communities on both the north and south coasts from its base at Goose Bay. The company says the region will benefit from the increased capacity and improved schedules with more flights to some coastal communities.

A lot of us are wishing we were still over there. Not to worry though we will survive to live another day, 5 years will pass quickly.

They recently acquired a another -300 twin otter making 5 twins total. I'm sure this will keep them flying all winter long.
