Heard this on the radio awhile back,

pilot - "We're getting thrashed pretty bad up here"

atc - "check remarks, is that a moderate or severe thrashing?"

made me laugh

lol, I looked it up, I couldnt beleive it, and there it was... LOL!!

I remember once flying around...

Pilot in front of me lands... "Theres big bird on the runway"
ATC informs me "Big bird is on the runway"

I swear she was laughing, I could hardly get my call sign out.

Much to my dissapointment big bird was not on the runway :'(

I saw a Metar for CYBW once where they said unable to determine cloud height...baloon iced up and fell out of the sky.

Talking to a FSS guy one day and he told me he had a pirep from TC that was Cloudy and Rainy. So when we left we told him it was Cloudy, Rainy, Wind from the leftish, and slightly moderately bumpy.

There was the METAR that went something like WX OBS DELAYED DUE TO WOLVERINE

The story goes the FSS guy was had stepped outside to do the WX OBS in just a light sweater in -20 weather and when went to return to the building there was a wolverine between him the door that was none too fond of letting him pass. The standoff lasted for over and hour and he damn near had hypothermia. Not sure where I heard it
