when I pointed out on a thread what most people know...
Thought everyone in this day and age knew that a link with .jpg at the end indicates a jpeg formatted photo or image.
this is what I get in my inbox from Justanotherpilot:
Your a Dick buddy. get a fuckin life. your obviously a wanna be pilot and have no friends in the industry. Just wanted to let you know (but you probably already know this) your a cocksmoker. So eat a bag of Dicks!
Sounds like you're having a bad day there.

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?
This also relates to one of my very first posts where I suggested posters label their links so that people reading the forums could decide whether or not to click on the link to see what information was there. I was told if I didn't know what it was I assumed any risk with opening it. But at least I know a .jpeg link is a picture.

Everyone should already know that .jpg means JPEG or joint photographic experts group ie: a photo. Walker's post does have a .jpg link so that's what the note is for. Any link to a news site reporting a crash ie: http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story or http://cknw.com/news etc is not likely to have a picture of a puppy, so if you think you are likely to be overwhelmed by what you might see don't click it. If you are upset by what was reported don't take your grief out on me, I didn't link the pictures but I did try to give a warning. Too many horrific accidents are reported on the news with no attempt to be compassionate to those left behind, other than ensuring the next of kin have been notified before splashing as much as possible on every form of media available.
