If you could only study two things, you'd want to study theory of flight and the learning factors. They tried to add some practical examples relating to the learning factors. There was little to no MET on it. Wrote it about a month ago.

I'm renewing to freelance, so I thought I'd upgrade at the same time. Ya never know when you'll need it and the more qualifications the better.I never intended to instruct in the first place and here I am paying my own money to get back into it. My former self would be sick, however I'd probably punch my former self in the face.

Class II & I seem to be in high demand in my region.

EVERY region. A class 1 can pretty much make their own demands right now. Great to see.

Go with the first 58 (or so) pages of the FIG, CARs 405/406, and know the flight test standards RPP, PPL, CPL backwards and forwards. A little from CARs 600 series wouldn't hurt either.

Good Luck.

Excellent advice. Remember your basic Theory of flight, slow flight/stall/spin theory as well. Review the FTM.

Do well.
