The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

I won't comment on it... But I don't think there's much damage, the starboard leg has collapsed.
It's not one of Pro's operational Duchesses.

I checked the aircraft at Langley and at Abbotsford as well this morning.

Any idea of peak wind gusts? The news said almost 70 km/h but I don't buy it ..considering YVR tower clocked gusts over 40 knots * Yes, I know i'm a geek listening to tower passing windspeeds to landing a/c*

I was without power for a good 16 hours plus..

I was watching the morning news over a coffee yesterday, and they showed the report from saturna island around 8 am. It said 107 gusting 135, measured in kilometers. Translated to knots, that's 60G75.
