It was only natural to protect french players from prejudice assholes like con smyth!
Maybe if they would of accepted French players as equals, all would of been different!

You habs fans are a funny bunch. If the Leafs (the most beloved team in any sport by the way) are so bad, how can they be 2-0-1 against the almighty and supreme habs? The only reason they are not 3-0-0 against you ladies is because Cory Price stole the last game.

And I'm not too worried about Price doing that too often. It's only a matter of time before you no-class buffoons get on him for not being french and the resulting distraction sends his game into the toilet.

And speaking of that, why are you wasting your time posting on here? Shouldn't you be focusing your energy on berating your captain?

HAHAHAH.....everybody in the league recognizes the Habs organization aNd the classiest around! Everybody laughs at the Leafs!

It should be 3-0 for the Canadiens after Sundin & Stajan got super lucky goals...B.S, Canadiens outplay them! & a little help from the refs too!

Certainly gave Ottawa a run for their money unlike the Maple laughs!

I'm not a fan of either team. However, since we live in a society where $$$ are the measure of worth - the Leafs rule. Whether Habs fans like it or not.

I know we have discussed this before ICEMAN but statistics speak facts. Potential may be in Montreals favor, but some teams never convert that potential to victory.

The biggest mystery in my my mind is why Kaberle and McCabe still putting on a Leafs jersey?

If the habs win the cup, there will be a party in Quebec.

If the Leafs win the cup, there will be parties from one coast to the other. This entire country will go absolutely apeshit - with Quebec being the obvious exception.

The Leafs always have been - AND ALWAYS WILL BE - Canada's team.

whoa whoa...CAnada is not Toronto...Thats why the rest of the country hates us.

The diff between the Habs and the Leafs....if the Habs played like the LEafs have year after year and there was no Lord Stan for over...40 years...every hockey player for the Habs would have been executed.

Leaf fans are too easy on them. What this city needs is some phuqen passion when you come to see a game. Instead the 'platinum' seats sit empty because they have gone corporate. You have to take out a 2nd mortgage to take your family to a regular season game. AND THEY PLAY LIKE PHUQING ASSWIPES with their heads up their ass's. I blame the fans. Wanna see a cup and want to see changes...NO ONE GO TO THE GAMES. Leave that venue empty for a month and WATCH management make the changes and aquire the players that will contribute to the ice.

A boycott....F'ing EH!

Boycott the LEafs....Im not a leaf fan however...I feel for you people...you dont deserve this...

I've always been a Leafs fan. For some unexplained reason, I still cheer for the Argos as well. Leafs seem to keep their best efforts for the Habs, and they go to sleep in Otttawa.
BUT
I sure would like to see a Stanley Cup final series with the Leafs vs. the Habs!

I don't live in Toronto and certainly do not buy into the 'Toronto is the centre of the universe' mentality. That was not my point. What I am saying is that there are Leaf fans in just about every city, town and village clear across this country.

Being a pilot my job allows me to travel, and I've been to many NHL games both in Canada and the US. Hell even when the Leafs aren't playing in the game you will see people sitting in the stands with a Leaf jersey on. No other team comes even close to having the fan support that Toronto has - BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MOST BELOVED TEAM IN ANY SPORT - PERIOD.

Anyone who can't see that has their head stuck up their arse.

Have you guys heard about the Fan from Tampa who is traveling to all 31 arenas in the league to watch games?

He said the best place to watch hockey was at the Bell Center by far...& the was against the Thrashers...imagine against the Leafs!

I have been to the ACC to watch a game.....in all honesty, I can truly say that you can hear a pin drop in that place!

I ask you all! Tonight if you watch the Leafs, look at the puck drop at the beginning of the 2nd & 3rd! You will see that most people are not even back to their seats, most are empty!
Going to the leafs game is like a social event for the rich & not the real fans!

Is that the sign of a true classy organization? To forget about the true fans & tend to those who will pay the most?? Explains your 413 million$ franchise value???

Habs have sold out every game 21,273 people & still give reasonable ticket prices!
Also, because of that idiot Ronald Corey, Canadiens pay the highest property tax!

Players like Steve Yzerman, Sidney Crosby...wanted to be Montreal Canadiens! To be part of the history of one the greatest sports franchises in the world! Undisputed!

To play the Montreal Canadians in the Forum...was like ...holy crap! It was super overwhelming for many players!
It was the Mecca for Hockey!

Stop segregating between Quebec & the rest of Canada! We are part of Canada too!

I met a guy a few months ago who spent the first 20 years of his life living near Quebec City. When he moved to Ontario, he noticed all of the Leaf fans. His first thought was 'who the hell are all of these people, don't they know EVERYONE hates the Leafs?'

Sounds a lot like you. Going through life with blinders on being completely oblivious to things going on outside of your field of view. Pity...

Even some of your 'Leaf haters' have reluctantly acknowledged that some my arguments have merit. Open your eyes.
