What ratings is confed currently offering with there program?
I think they ditched the ski rating, but all told what should someone come out of that program with???

approx. 215 hours, a commercial license with a float rating. They give you some instrument training, enough to get you to a level that you will pass the tc exams, but they don't give you the rating. When I left they had just installed a Baron 58 Sim, so I imagine you'd get some multi sim time as well.

Their training is tailored to bush flying. You get 25 Hrs on floats, and they give you winter/bush survival training! WoooooHooo!!! hehehe
I still think they should give you something more that you can use, it would be nice for them to add a third year and include multi-IFr and an instructor rating.
It would be nice!

Pretty sure some students can some can't, dependant on how much that student gets done summer semester. You do get multi sim time. And they still do a ski rating.SuperchargedRS wrote:So do they give you all the hours needed to just go out and take the test for single IFR?
I didn't get any ski training! not many people got to in my class, the 180 was in for an engine change! and there wasn't too much snow!

OR...instead of paying for a third year and NOT working you could take your float rating, get a job, collect a paycheck and have a couple hundred hours of PIC time and a helluvalot more skill and ability. But I guess who needs PIC time when you could be sitting in a classroom or on the ramp or right seat....right?renfley wrote:I still think they should give you something more that you can use, it would be nice for them to add a third year and include multi-IFr and an instructor rating.
