Are you some kind of moderator to boss other people around. Gosh, I can't belive people still haven't learnt to respect one another here, asking us if we : "Understand". Please, be polite. After all, we all have at least one common interest if we are on this forum, let's make it swellniko wrote:We don't use positive/negative. We use affirmative for yes and negative for no. Understand?

Only KFC pilots think that Flair is union busting/circumventing. Fact is that is is a small company, good people, pay is ok, new aircraft (B737-800) just arrived, and the future looks very bright. If you want in on the ground floor..go for it. BTW Capts start at 90, F/O's about 54 plus benefits.

ALL that work used to be FLIGHTCRAFT PILTOS work, now Flair is doing it. Thats circumventing the union.forrest junk wrote:Those services you refer to are contracted by Flair, how does that make it union busting? Anyway, no intention of getting into a pissing contest...if you are a unionite no doubt you will be grieved there is no union at Flair....build a bridge...and get over it.

Get your facts straight, Flair is not doing any work that KFC ever did. Flying freight from YYZ-HAV that was ACE before Flair started doing it. Flying YEG-YMM, that was shell flying it before Flair started it. Nope don't see any work that KFC pilots ever did that Flair is now doing.mighty mouse wrote:

Yes Flair has a lot of ties with KFC, and I understand how the KF pilots can see Flair as a threat. But really Flair is not taking or has taken any work away from KFC.

1)- Wrong. Any freight on the 727 should be the KFC pilots work period. Flair is KFC with out unionized pilots.skydrolboy wrote:Get your facts straight, Flair is not doing any work that KFC ever did. 2) KFC in the past has always had small projects like the 737 NG and other 727 passenger charters. As soon as Flair started all the little extra work went to Flair totally bypassing the KFC pilots BUT NOT THE COMPANY!

Actually Flair uses Flightcrafts dispatch and stewards, aircraft and maintance...the only thing thats different is the pilots. It's really not that hard to figure out. The only thing that I really don't understand is why ?
Wouldn't all that duplication, lawyers and extra support staff cost more than any possible gains ? I'm also going on info that the pay scales are similar.

Sometimes I think it's a shame when I get feelin' better when I'm feelin no pain.

I wouldn't mind doing the night shift. Seriously, there must be major incentives for that. For one, doing the night shift, is something that an NG pilot should get used to. Long range aircraft = going through different time zones. Thus, I would find it a bit meek on behalf of pilots, thinking that if they're going to work on such aircraft, that they not do the graveyard shit.
