Best weather in Canada during winter?

Hi I'm wondering what province in Canada you would find the best weather in winter, cause im getting fed up with the crappy weather we have here around Montreal.

I started my multi rating beginning of november, and i just got 4,8 hours. I got cancelled so many times I've lost count. When you dont fly for 2 weeks straight because of weather you get kind of rusty, which doesn't help to finish the multi rating faster.

I woudn't mind going for a month or so and finish my multi-ifr and the few hours I'm missing for my commercial somewhere else, because i really want to finish my cpl for the winter to start looking for a job during spring.

The way things are going these days, i feel like i will never be able to finish my commercial, snowing everyday and a low ceiling equals no flying.

If you have any suggestions for other schools out there where usually there is good weather during winter it would be really appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I did my multi-IFR at Perimeter Flight training in YWG. I never had a weather cancellation since they were approved for training in IMC. I'm not sure how common that is (I'm not involved with flight training), but it sure was convienient. I had my complete MIFR in 3.5 weeks. Give it a try if you are finding you are cancelled because of weather, or ask around for another flight training unit that does the same thing. The weather in YWG isn't really all that much better than anywhere else, I'm afraid, but as I said, training in actual IMC is not that bad of a thing. My first IFR training flight (after multi training in VMC and IFR on the sim) was a DME arc to the back course for Rwy 30 to minimums in 2 miles of snow :) :) It was a good feeling.

Cheers,
PP
