After reading some of his other threads, I wouldn't say it's trolling. It's a valid question after all. Which major would hire a guy with low hours with an obvious purchased type rating anyway?
Ok I get your point. Well to those that feel that it's stingy that I plan on getting a type rating there, I might actually get 3 at the same time. Apparently if you train on the B747-400 you're eligible to pilot the 747-300/200 as well, according to Boeing itself that posted this a while ago. Wouldn't that be wonderful, THREE type ratings in ONE! FANTASTIC!
ya, it must be serious???
Three in one, wow! lots of research done here I can see.
just in case this fellow is serious:
747-100,200,300, SP, same rating,
747-400- different rating
I wish I had known it was this easy, get out of high school, "go to boeing" get a 747 type rating, or in his case "multiple ratings", cause apparently it is so easy, and then bada bing .... start flying which ever one takes your fancy?????
now why did I spend 20+ years doing it the hard way? oh well, live and learn.
If you can buy a 737 type rating for USD 4995,- ..... why are people in Canada signing training bonds for 10's of thousands of dollars for a PPC on B1900's, Metro's, B350's??? Wouldn't it be better to just buy a PPC and not have to worry about the bond?
