It's not the same company. I know of the individual who posted the original ad and everything should be on the up and up. Never heard anything bad about him.
Cheers

So let me get this straight your going to tell me it is on the up and up. But yet within a week of posting the ad for this job flying a 310 around the US. He is in need of a pilot to ferry the meridian from TO, and asking for a pilot with type training. Why wouldn't he get the pilot who was hired to operate the machine ferry it, or better yet be looking for a pilot to operate the thing. Now in all honesty, the fact he needs a ferry pilot means the A/C accually exists which is a big step. However, in the ad for the 310 pilot he says the company owns a 310, meridian, and J42. I wouldn't say I call bluff, but comm' on now. Who in there right mind would really want to be transported around for months at a time in a 310. I'm not too sure that I would be... To all those that apply good luck and hope that this is not a dead end street.

Birdman, the conspiracy theories are two doors down.
It is very common in private aviation to have one company managing completely unrelated aircraft and pilots.
On a different note, i love the voicemail greeting: "I'm either flying, or away from the phone." That must really impress the ladies.
The policy at my company is all phone calls outside the faf get answered.
