Squeaker vs Greaser
Is a squeaker another word for greaser? What would be a definition of a squeaker

She is to dry?
The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.
After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

def (2.) Squeaker
1. A deadly "silent but violent" manifestation of a fart usually containing a high-pitched, clinched sphincter utterance. 2. The leading cause of death in church and movie theaters.
"It's a good thing we had that canary, or that squeaker would of killed us!"
def (4.) Squeaker
Someone who causes extreme annoyance to others
That squeaker will not be the death of me I tell you.. I'll kick them in the fetus before that happens!
def (1.) greaser
a person who dresses in rockabilly fashion and styles his hair in a pompdour or other tall retro hairstyle with a petrolium based pomade, such as seen in the movies: grease, the outsiders, westside story, rebel without cause, etc
1:the greaser went to the diner to cruise for some really keen chicks

Re: Squeaker vs Greaser
I've never heard of a "squeaker" landing.
I've never done a "greaser" landing.
Most of my landings are "woooooah! I'm falling out of the sky! Where's that fuckin' throttle? Woooah, need some rudder!" landings.

Most of my landings are "hound Dog" style
That's when the tires go "YELP....YELP,YELP,YELP.....YELP"

Re: Squeaker vs Greaser
It all depends on the context. If you're still in training, then it's a normal way to describe a landing by anthropomorphizing the landing. Squeaker being an obvious near screw-up, while a greaser would be as if the runway was greased so you didn't even notice the landing.
If you're out of flight school, then use of the terms has a different connotation, it means you're a total dork.

It's for the person being tested...
A squeaker is someone who uses projection when he or she screws up...
A greaser knows the World and puts some cash into the examiners hands...

Maybe a greaser is someone who can consistently land a Cessna trainer on the nose wheel and never bend the fire wall?

Re: Squeaker vs Greaser
So what is the correct CRM etiquette following the Captain's visit to the loo following either of the two examples above?Squeaker is the sound of your morning crap after a night of eating chineese food.
Greaser is the sound of your morning crap after a night of drinking draught.
This is the flight training forum, should we don the oxygen masks?

High Coeff of Friction = Squeek, Low Coeff of Friction = Greaser.
For example, hot summer day v.s. wet winter day.
