I'm currently studying for my PSTAR exam, and in doing so, am completing the practice questions from Transport (link below). Although by the time I take the exam, I will have read all of the references available, there is far too much information to remember for novice pilots. So simply put, are the practice questions sufficient enough to allow me to pass the exam? Any helpful tips are appreciated.

For the PSTAR all of the 50 questions are taken DIRECTLY word for word from the 200 practice questions. So, if you can do all the practice questions, and remember the answers, you'll do fine on the test.

Robyn's guide is a great tool for figuring out the answers and helping you understand the answers. I wish I had it when I did my PSTAR!

Aviation World sells this great little PPL cdrom, I think it's about 50$ I used it to study as well. You just keep running through the questions over and over... You'll get 100% easy... just make sure you actually understand the material ... lol

Yea, the information given is pretty simple, and on many occasions, is common sense.

One more question... I was reading the section on flight plans & itineraries, and was wondering what the difference was between the two, as it fails to point that out. Could anyone help me out here?

it was a great help when I did my PSTAR!

Also if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, check out an app called iPSTAR. Good for throwing random questions at you to answer.

Just do all 'em questions like 5 times and you'll pretty much memorize it.
You'll understand a lot of them throughout training if you haven't already.
