Better start wearing those ties and obeying every rule in the ALPA bible. Have fun with that and the ALPA psychos that think they're just the best thing ever.

ALPA Code of Ethics

Hmmm it's obvious that you have NO idea what you are talking about.

The ALPA code of ethics espouses professionalism .. and you see the problem where????

Ask any pilot in any ALPA airline what they think about the union, and I would wager pints and chicken parts that the majority are happier than when they were when they were not represented.

Geez .. can't even send well wishes without getting flamed ...

Reading their code of ethics I note that only male pilots are bound by the code....no mention of female pilots.

A company gets the union they deserve. I keep hearing about how management is nickel and diming the boys and girls up there over the last godknowshowlong years. Considering there is a pilot shortage…not a smart move. And see what happened. Another example of a company thinking they can hose the pilots and get away with it.

Welcome to a very good union WSG.

There are woman pilots? Heh, what are you going to tell me next, Mexican pilots?

Seriously though, working for an alpa carrier was my most pleasant experience yet in this industry. I'm sure there are good owner/operators out there, I've unfortunatelly yet to meet one.

penis fish

This fish is feared to attack humans and swim into an orifice (the vagina, anus, or even the penis—and deep into the urethra). Because of spines protruding from the fish, it is almost impossible to remove except through surgery.

That's it, no more f*****g Avcanada with coffee!

Remember that Larson cartoon with the bear standing there in front of his wife, he has a dart in his ass and a tag on his head and she's ragging on him for being late? I have an image of a pilot in a uniform with penis fish sticking out of all the orifices with the dispatcher ragging on him... oh gawd...

Penis fish snork gurgle

Just a professional at AvCanada. Now, when I'm in the air, that's a different story.

If someone is that relieved when ALPA moved in, maybe they should'a moved on a while before? Was it that bad?

Hey, where'd the penis fish thing come from? The more you read about it, the more you can scare the hell out of any kid from peeing in the pool!

Skycoupe, I wasn't flaming you.

EI

I guess there are people at Wasaya that decided to make a difference, and make some changes to get some changes made. And it's not just "someone", it is the majority of the pilots that voted the union in.

You weren't flaming me directly, but since I stated that I was in the ALPA family, and you were flaming ALPA, then indirectly ... ahh .. no hard feelings

The ALPA code of ethics is an excellent read. It had me in stitches. (And I almost blew orange juice out my nose)

Does this mean Wasaya pilots now have to pay Union dues?

Yes, but they will likely more than make up for the dues through improved wages and working conditions.
