I can't seem to find much information on it, author etc...

Does anyone have any input?

Auslander Publishing. Sells for around $59 at most aviation supplies stores. Don't know if they are any good, and they do publish guides for the ATPL's as well. Worth the try at least, gives you exam writing practice.
