Online Application

Post by Soar »

Hi,

I can't remember exactly which line it is, but on the online application form for AC under the section regarding flight hours etc, it asks to summarize your flight hours with a blank area (where you can type information) under it. Are you actually supposed to fill something in there (flight hours), or do it via the following questions (by clicking on a radio (is that what they're called?) button and selecting one of the options ...ie - 100 - 500, 500 - 1000, etc).

If you're supposed to fill out the blank, the space seems quite tight to summarize one's flight hours, especially if you have any amount of flight hours. What did everyone else do? Or is everyone confused by my question? :)

Thanks for any insight.

I found it equally puzzling.

I think this format, multiple choice depending how many hours you have, might make it easier for their HR people to sort through resumes.

Are they actively interviewing this month and in Feb? I've heard hiring has slowed down a bit since some of Embraer Jet sims are going down for maintenance in March/April.
How often do they sort through the database?

Thanks,
