There are 2 shifts: 7 to 3:30pm and 3:30 to midnight. There is a night shift but that is for line maint.

Yes they are still hiring. Slowly. They have lost AME's to Jazz, Air Georgian, Sunwing, and Bombardier. But they have also hired from Air Georgian, Sunwing and Westjet. I guess people want to work days.

They are currently working on Dash 8's and RJ's. There is a fair number of contractors as well working there as well.

Jazz: flight benefits r e l a x e d schedule.........night shifts?
Air Georgian? god only knows (crew chief....??) Night shifts?
Sunwing: 737 endorsement? flight benefits? They like working nights? Did I mention this one already? Oh ya I did.
Bombardier: FSR. Preflight?

More money I guess. You can make a good deal with a licence and an endorsement.
