Anyone from Bearskin? I know they have a 10G bond ... along the lines of drawing a loan, and they make the payments for you.

North-Wrong Keeps $350 off every cheque for 30 months, then pays you out. Dirty.

Air Nunavut wants the cash up front. Last I heard was $9K for the 200, some ungodly sum for the Falcon.

Do they pay you the interest on the money for the time they withhold it?

The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.

After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

Nothing wrong with money up-front, as long as it's in the form of a signing bonus....

I think with the way industry is, alot of these companies cant afford to lose pilots, and they probably dont have much of a training budget. If you're a low timer or just getting into your first turboprop, there is a chance you're going to have to pay up front or sign a bond. Very few companies I've looked into didnt require anything, then again their pay and working conditions lacked big time.

Well if they don't pay interest on the money do you think they give it to charity?
