Just a quick question.

What's the best glide speed for a Cessna 206?

75-65 KIAS depending on weight. 75 is at 3600 and I think 65 would be around 2800 lbs....

istp - by the date of your post, you have probabily now flown the C206 enough to know that a 206 will not glide. If the engine quits, look directly below you because that is where you are going to land. Like a friggen greased crowbar. And I have over 4000 hrs in a 206.

:lol: I was thinking the same thing oldtimer. I think most helicopters will out glide a C206!
