How are things coming with Maylan?

Post by victory_aviation »

I know there are other posts about this but I havent seen anything new about them. How are things coming with the school? Is there anyone on here working for them? Is it a good place to work?

I heard that they are setting up a base in YPQ...any truth to this?

What i heard is that they have a lot of things that build an exciting future and not presence. Apparently they don't fly much and the 35 dollar / hr buffer they offer doesn't really give you a salary much higher than other places cause of the amount they fly. This is second hand info that I have and it may not be accurate.

If you're planning on moving, I'd suggest Adam's Harv's Air. It's in manitoba where the cost of living is cheap and they have a good reputation. I have a friend who worked there and said that Adam's a great boss to have. Apparently they had 332 VFR days and have 50+ students on waiting list to go flying. This will only get better in the summer.
