Sick days on Reserve

Post by yellowarc »

Howdy,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a bit more insight on how sick days work while on reserve. I know to call in 'Sick if required' and then you will start using up your sick days when the need you? Is it true about 7 days sick and you have to see the medical examiner? What about if you are sick more than once a month? Just looking to fill in some of the blanks.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. After 7 consecutive days you require a medical examination from your AC doctor, or somtimes just a phone call may sufice. After a month I am now sure it's in the FOM though regarding short and long term sickness. You will not loose any sick days though unless you are the last guy required on the reserve avail list.
