Keewatin Air
I am trying to get a F/O position with Keewatin because I have heard a lot of good things about them. Does anyone have any tips for getting in there? I have sent a few resumes over the past couple months but I haven't got a reply. Are they hiring right now?
Any help would be really great.

Re: Keewatin Air
They are hiring. How to get hired is a different question. Not much of a rhyme or reason, but show up at the door and talk to someone in management you might have a good shot.

They are hiring captains right now on both the BE20 and BE02
Re: Keewatin Air
good place to work as an FO, as long as you dont want to get paid much, and you want to work in the Arctic!
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.
Re: Keewatin Air
25000/y to start as F/O n B200 is quiet regular, un less you know better places whom I'd like to know more about

Re: Keewatin Air
a king air FO position should pay more than 30k in places where trees go, to work in the arctic it should pay waaay more than that!
better to be a racer for a moment, than a spectator for a lifetime
Re: Keewatin Air
ok
anyone with company names paying entry level F/O more than 30.000$ where you can see trees ?

Re: Keewatin Air
how about Fugro and SGL to start, there are companies that pay good entry level wages, you just have to look.
I guess they dont operate B200's, but they do operate similar sized aircraft

Re: Keewatin Air
you can apply at jazz to start at 36k plus per diems and such to fly a dash or an rj. You will live in one of the nice metropolitan type cities, fly paved to paved, see where the trees go and definitely stay out of the arctic! Not that I would know. To each their own, and hopefully one day, an fo make as much as they are worth, in all areas of aviation.

that will only happen when pilots stop screwing themselves over for jobs!

yes Apache you're right but I allready talked to GIlbert Cusson Jazz CP in YUL and they won't hire me unless I have a valid ATPL or great turbine experience, why not in churchill ?Apache64_ wrote:you can apply at jazz to start at 36k plus per diems and such to fly a dash or an rj.
