O.K. fair comment but what Hedley is saying is it is not getting better, it is getting worse.I hear what you're saying, but this is still the best country in the world and I would never leave it in spite of some of the issues you mention.
Freedoms, opportunity, quality of life, infrastructure, the vast array of landscapes and the people that occupy the space between the oceans (there are plenty more good people than bad), the list is long but that's a start. I've traveled a lot in my years and have never been to a country I would prefer to call home.
