Flying standby with Air Transat

Post by wassa_b »

Hi,

We have a scheduled flight from Toronto to London Gatwick on August 15 and would like to take one day earlier flight. I was wondering if anybody has any insight into Air Transat standby rule. Is there a fee to fly standby with a scheduled ticket for later date flight? Thank you.

If you work for Air Transat, you will need a blue pass ticket. If you work for an other airline, you just need to walk to the counter and ask for the jumpseat agreement. Keep in mind those flights are pretty full, especially since Air Transat increased the pitch. Depending on the day, you might be able to catch a LHR, MAN, BHX, etc flight.

Good luck
