Red Passes... What discounts are they good for?!?!?!?!

Post by critical engine »

Ok, So I have hear the red pass get you into the Vancouver Aquarium for free. Discounts at certian hotels. Something off at someone’s car rental place...ect

What does it actually get us? I would like everyone to post if they know of a good deal our passes get us.

Also, please post stupid normal avcanada smart ass remarks too...and when you’re done, I still need full fuel, and bags in the aft.... thanks

Son, someday you will make a girl very happy, for a short period of time. Then she`ll leave you and be with new men who are ten times better than you could ever hope to be. These men are called pilots.

Red pass? I'm guessing you mean you're airside pass?

A semantic argument would probably result in all of us finding out they call it a RAIC these days. However, I think at this point we're straying away from a good topic.

I've been told that the pass get's you into Cowboys in Calgary cover free, and you get to bypass the line. I've also received discounts at various restaurants at or near quite a few airports.

I traveled with my red pass once as someone said it was a quick way to get me through security. Security actually stopped me at my home airport (to which the pass was assigned) to verify my pass was valid and it took me twice as long to get through.

I can vouch for the fact it will get you in at Cowboys in YYC and bypass the line...just leave a little something for the doorman(or woman). I also was travelling from Tampa back to Canada on Northwest and they upgraded me to first class when I showed them my red pass and asked if there was any chance of an upgrade..I confess to not knowing it could get you into cougar central (the Pal)...gonna have to try it

The Red Pass will get you to the front of the line at the VD clinic so you don't have to sit and wait with the run of the mill clients.

Haven't tried it with an Air Crew 'red pass', but a couple of years ago with a regular ground security pass from YHM, you got free admission to the war plane heritage museum next door. Not as many cougars as some of the bars, but an interesting place to visit nonetheless.

They tell me it will get you laid almost anywhere.
Get an employee discount at both the upstairs food court and the downstairs coffee shop in the Regina Air Terminal.
No discount at Timmey's in Saskatoon or the one on McCall Way by the airport in Calgary.

These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

I've heard this as well, but this begs the more important question; how does it work on the ladies at Cowboys?

Gotta ask the question and say,

Are you folks really taking your RAIC's to the clubs just to avoid a $5 cover? Makes me wonder, what'll happen if you loose it and have to work in the next couple days, guess your off for a few more till its replaced.

Curious though, the PAL in WG? Cougar central. Guaranteed that you'll hook up if you wear that around your neck all night.
