Dornier 228
I recently heard that this machine the Dornier 228 was going back in production.
Who has these rights? Is there anything left of Dornier/Fairchi

Re: Dornier 228
All true. But the Crew seats are the most comfortable ones I've ever worked in. Still looks like the carrying case for the otter though.

After a weeks stint, I'd spend a day each with my chiro, and rmt. Mind you, after your years up north you're probably shaped differently than you used to be.
Re: Dornier 228
Dornier seats comfortable??? WTF are you smoking? My back and arse will never be the same cause of those seats!!
Re: Dornier 228
I dont know much about the 228 but found the read interesting, especially the part where they put a PT6 on one during development. The Metro was the same one was built with a PT6 but the Garrett was chosen.
Its a wonder some outfit hasnt tries this conversion on the DHC-6
