I just finished my first season on bush flying in Canada and want to go south to get a flying job any where from argentina to mexico. Near a beach, of course, will be the best...

I have been trying to get some info on internet, but there is so little...

I have some hours on C-185 and C-206 and and speak perfect spanish...

any ideas where can I get some clues? ( air taxi companies, conditions, requirements for licenses, etc)

I dont know any specifics, but have you looked at pilotcareercenter dot com They have lots of info on companies from other countries.

I've heard good things about Winair but was told you need a Twin Otter PPC before getting hired. I'd also love to move south for the winter.

I am currently spraying in Argentina. Genaral aviation is not in good health around here or most of South America.
Speaking Spanish is only one of the must things to have.

there is an operator in Belise, called bELIZE AIE OR aIR bELIZE, and they do hire some folks with lower times than the norn, I believe that they operate 206's, though not sure of the rest.

I went to Guyana, by road to Panama, and air from there. They would have hired me with Guyana Airways but required the British License. As I had Canadian Senior Com., I had to rewrite. The Operations Exam went back to England to be marked and it took six weeks to find out if you passed. ( plus $600 Exm Fee ) Should have stayed and done it. At that time all they had was HS748, 2 but the Chief Pilot ( retired military ) had just landed one gear up, so then there was one. Now they fly to Toronto a couple times a week. Problem, as I saw it, was that then ( 1982 ) they got paid $400per mth as F.O..
You could live there like a King, but never make enough to leave with any.
