Is there anyone on here that works for this department of TC? I'm know they have some 73 aircraft, but I thought that all the people who fly for them had other positions at TC than just flying. Anyone know if this is true, or do they have actual pilot positions that aren't inspectors or otherwize? I'm interested in the 2 Dash 8 and the Twin Otters that do surveillance.

Feel free to PM me. thanks.

You'll have to pry Karens dead body out of the Otter in YVR.

Trained in a sim with a TC surveillance pilot who flew 1000 hours a year for TC on dash-8. He was based in moncton so yes there are full time pilot positions at TC. He loved the job. Hard to get i'd say though.

I`m told the otter is operated by TC for the coast guard. Not related to TC at all other than the OC. Don`t know for sure but I would think you have to be a coast guard fella and then work your way up that way.

This info came from a TC inspector a few years ago so take it for what its worth. Not much.

Cheers,
