Yea, CCB for second, CCC for third, etc. It happens. I've known guys who've had to send out a 4th correction. Another reason for a CCA is if they had to send it out from another station due to network issues. In that case you'd usually see "VIA YWG FIC" or something similar in the remarks though, and it's sent as a correction in case the first one eventually gets through, so that there arn't duplicates.

no sig because apparently quoting people in context is offensive to them.

No trees were harmed in the transmission of this message. However, a rather large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.

In Edmonton they have a guy and a lady who have a continual weather-prediction/description contest.

The boss listened to both their arguments, and finally went with hers.

"SPECI CYEG 151446Z CCA 35009KT 7SM -SN SCT008 BKN018 BKN060 M05/M07 A3019 RMK SF4SC2SC1 VIS HER S SLP261=

Hers

(:
Ok, I made all that up-because I can't find what
HER S
means.

Thanks, sounds reasonable.

I don't think that one is in an abbreviation explanation guide.

I looked (only ) a little more;
maybe they forgot the the "I" before e in hier.

This 8 mb file , chapter 21 (Aware, the atmosphere, weather, and flying )
http://www.ec.gc.ca/Publications/defaul ... 262642C7B2
from
http://www.ec.gc.ca/meteo-weather/defau ... BAE7EC63F7
has 'higher" as
HIER
or Navcanada has some differences with Environment Canada.
