I'm very sad to pass along the news that Paton passed away late yesterday at his home. He retired from the Manitoba Government Air Service a little less than one year ago and has had a well deserved retirement cut short. He was a good friend and my deepest sympathies go out to his family.

Just got the call, shocked, just retired and enjoying the good life. Fly on good buddie, you will be missed. Will always remember the tales of Lynn Lake and Brochet, fun times.

RIP Paton. Sorry to hear this and my condolences to the family and all the MGAS folks too.

Will there be a memorial service?

Wow, I'm stunned. I went to his retirement dinner not 2 years ago...

The funeral service for Paton will be held Saturday December 27th, 2:30 pm at MacKenzie Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Stonewall, MB
