Post by collegeboy »

Anyone know the name of the head guy or girl at Skydive Vancouver? I have looked on there site a few times and couldn't find it and also checked PCC.com but there is nothing there. Any help would be appricated.

I don't know that they do any skydiving in Vancouver... Pitt Meadows is run by Ian Flanagin. I'm not sure who runs Abbotsford, but I do know they are all US reg. aircraft. You can always ask around on http://www.dropzone.com it's a tight community. Someone will know... who knows the owner may just respond directly.
Good Luck

Thks 360montana I forgot about dropzone.com. And Skydive Vancouver is the company out of Abbotsford. It sould be nice to get some time on that porter but if they are all american reg then it wouldn't happen even getting time on their 185 wouldn't happen.

Its a canadian reg, one of only 3 in canada. You better have some time on type or some serious time under your belt. way I hear it is the owner is very protective and flys it mostly himself. look on the site and you can even see in all the pics its an older gentlemen. I do know from my DZO that he had other pilots fly it but has had some accidents on the ground. I can see why you want to drive er though, a plane that can stalk jumpers in free fall.

Did they re-register their planes recently? Awhile ago I saw Skydive Vancouver's planes on the TC registry, IIRC they had a 170, 180, 182, 206, and the Porter with C-registrations when I last looked.
