Hi Guys / Gals:
Just found this:
http://www.workopolis.com/EN/job/10612728
For those wondering, here is an excerpt from the ad:
"The Network Operations, Operational Acceptance department at Rogers is looking to fill a Flyover Pilot position. The successful incumbent will be responsible for conducting Cumulative Leakage Index - Airborne (CLIa) detection flyovers of the Rogers' cable system network. "
It may be a good opportunity for those of you looking for a job to get something different and work for a big corporation.
Good luck!

Wow that is interesting. I worked in the cable industry for a few years but I never realized they checked for leakage from the air.

I notice that a multi-engine rating is not required. PC-12?

Give them a phone call, or discuss it at the interview.
Guess somebody in the Brampton area may know which a/c they park there, if it is that important for you.
Anyway, I would stop guessing and asking rhetorical questions here, just apply if you think you are a fit, then see what comes out of it.

Not sure if I would call those questions rhetorical... but anyway, I don't think I've seen an ad for a pilot job that does not include a/c type. Now, for whatever reason they chose to do this, it doesn't matter... but if they at least provided requirements for the job, we could at least tell what they are looking for.
But really, they should just provide a/c type... seems silly not to.

I guess you could assume that since the requirments posted are just a strait CPL, no multi or IFR required, that you're A) only looking at a single and b) since no time requirment listed your probably looking at a 172, 182, or 206.

When I asked the rhetorical "How much do you think this should pay?", I was referring to these responsibilities and quals:
Responsibilities Include:

To me it seemed that the piloting aspect of the job would be secondary to the office part of the job, that is why I genuinely wondered what a person would expect for salary.

I willing to bet the job would pay more if you didn't have to fly.

i ran into the Rogers pilot a few years ago in YQM. It's a 172, and if i recall correctly, the pay is $65k-ish. Not bad for an entry level gig!
