CF-CAT is still flying today. It's owned by Seguin constuction in Slave Lake, Alberta. Flew in it a few times in support of our helicopters in Northern Alberta.

When I was kid, there was a Cub around here "C-GLUM".. That in itself would have been one thing but it was a hideous airplane, awfull fabric, a saggy speed-line and made all the more dumpy by wing extentions and HUGE, orange fiberglass drooped tips. Wish I could find a picture of it.

Bradley's had a Twin Otter registered C-GOES (Charlie Goes). They also operated a Twotter on behalf of Bell Canada, registered C-FYFT. The joke up north was that it stood for Can't Fix Your F*ckin Telephone.

Laurentian Air Services used to have a Beaver with CF-ART as the reg. They lost the airplane in a lake over west of Wabush, must have been in 1974 or so.

Our Hawker was CF-MDB, which was either Mulroney Deserves Better or Mulroney Dirty Bastard, depending whether you lived in Schefferville or not.

Too bad, if they'd have repainted it, post 1974, it would have had the 'dash' moved.. Less ART-SY and more FART-SY.
