Ok, what's goin on with this "Rank" business?... I see now I've somehow managed a rank of 1.. What's up with that? Number of posts? Quality of posts? Can I vote to increase someone's "rank"?

Does it have any meaning at all??

Hmmm if I wasn't so used to the usual pecking order of AME's vs Pilots, I might think that was as it should be....

... But in your case Duke, and after years of exposure to the true pecking order, I know that ain't right....

Bailiff! Give that man some "rank"! (geez, it almost sounds foul?)

When you have a question on how a forum works it might be a good idea to check the FAQ that some geek has spent hours writing so that we will not be bothered by simple questions that are answered in the FAQ.

Oh oh... ok... dangit, the highly ranked has scolded the lower peons for not checking the flippin FAQ's (RTFM right?!)....
Well don't I feel soppy....

Ok... from the FAQ "Most boards use ranks to indicate the number of posts you have made and to identify certain users."...

it doesn't say this board does likewise, but I'm prepared to believe it does in fact do so....

For the moderators or Admin, or whoever has that power... Dukemeister is deserving of far more! Not that it means squat, but the man deserves some flippin rank!
I hereby humbly request that someone give him some... In fact, give him lots! His rank should say "Oodles" or "Zillions" or something of that nature...

The man is rank so don't worry about The Duke.

And no worries about your ocularly challeged status. When you ask questions like these, i have to answer them, and then my rank goes up see

Hey! I just got to a rank of 4... Now I see the Duke still was never granted the status he deserves... I hereby humbly request that someone fix that once and for all!! Please give that man some kind of "rank" on this board more befitting a man of his stature!

He may never be back to post, but his writing is there for all of us to read, and this notion of "rank", in his case, far undercuts his contributions here.

Can one of you moderator types appeal to the AvCanada Meister to fix that?
