Here's a question. What about the guys who have been working the ramp for the past months/years? With things being the way they are are they going to be passed up for upgrades because TW can get more qualified applicants with PPC's and time on type and for pretty cheap? Are they this type of company or would they still honor their commitments to guys who have been slugging it out in the trenches?

I wonder what it will take for you all to realize that your boss isn't in business to give you a living. That is strickly a by product of what he needs. If he can get better qualifications and save money at the same time, then thats what he will do. Your employment is in his eyes a necessary evil. Every time an aircraft leaves the hanger it's a risk to his investments and he will do whatever he/she can to mitigate that risk. Loyalty really means little to nothing and as sad as that my sound that is sound business practise and unfortunatly we are/were just tools to use at his/her discretion. I would imagine a ramp position without a ppc will be just that for some time now. They really care little for what was promised. That was then this is now.

There is def 1 position opening up with the guy who crashed the otter this winter calling it quits. Jeez i'm sure your trolling and i prob bit hard but if you're not holy feck!

Geez, Muskeg, you must be a treat to work for...
Treat your employees well, and they will (generally) do you well in return - instead of doing the bare minimum of their job description, they'll do all of the little extras that need doing, and that keep your pax coming back. Treat them like you don't care, and they won't either - much to the detriment of your investments and business.
