Yes? It's true..... And if you choose to ignor the the heads up thats fine... The industry is slowing down, and it looks like that's the case! I've worked there in the past and have very good sources. The best way to get their attention is calling them. A great opertunity for those who dare.

Okay, fine... thanks for the heads up. It's just the first time ballstothewall69 posted this, there was a very sarcastic tone it seemed. Maybe I'm wrong. Whatever. :|

Hmmmm... the lines from the first and second thread. I sense it, but I guess I could just be assuming the worst because of the trolls that usually go on. I take it back... :?

Detecting tone in an e-mail or a forum is definitely a tricky thing, that's for sure J.A.C.

I figure either:

A) Carl's been drinking the Kool-aid and believes everything he's writing, or

B) Carl's the owner of Transwest.

Either way, he needs a dictionary.

That Ground School is for the ramp... nothing to do about aircraft besides how to load the bags etc.... and a few years back not all people who showed up to go to the "Ground School" were offered jobs....

If you get a Job its worth the Flight..... Talk to them to let them know what you have to do to get out there ie flying out... hope they have the decency to hire you, unless your a douche bag  j/k

P.S. and be prepared to live there for at least 3 years. 1 yr on the ramp (however with the economy in the shit tank it may be more) 1yr as a Co-pilot, and 1yr as capt, before its worth your while to go someplace else otherwise it will be a sideways move and you'd just be wasting your time

I just got the call from them tonight to go out west and do the training. Does anyone have any more detailed information on it? Is this a good company to work for, management wise, employee wise? Anyone know how many people were invited? Any info anyone has would be appreciated.

So if somebody farts and no one is around, does it still smell??

Why did the topic change and the original post have the name of the company taken out? Makes this thread useless
