I think it was intentional why on earth would you take your model airplane flying just off the end of a Runway and immediately climb that high, not saying im an expert but the majority of RC Airplane owners love aviation and would never do something this dumb to bring scrutiny on there hobby. Soon there's going to be background searches when you try to pick up a plane, license's issued by TC and annual $55 dollar processing fee not to mention a C of A with the accompanying fee's.

Ill stop before I give some desk jockey an Idea to justify his job.

Fake.

Its edited together from a combination of Flight Simulator and "real" model airborne video.

Throughout the airborne section, you can see the interference pattern between the prop rotation and the frame rate of the video camera. Except for the portion when the 737 is on screen, when it is clean video that has been spliced in.

The audio track is of course fake too.

This has as much legitimacy as a Michael Moore movie about President George W. Bush.

Michael Moore never lies or manipulates... everything in his documentaries are the absolute truth.

LOL... seriously though, he's a manipulative SOB, but I still don't mind his flicks.

Yep- shenanigans. The jet doesn't fly right... there's just something about it that screams CG. I'd imagine it's a product of the same crew that made that 'One wing landing' video that had everyone confused for two weeks. It's pretty entertaining that the news crew bought the story hook line and sinker though.

Watch it in HQ full screen and freeze frame it at about 37 to 41 seconds. You'll see the jet is in the clear with no prop pattern from the camera plane visible. During the last second or so of the jet segment, the prop pattern begins to appear, but comes up in video level due to a "fade in" feature of the editing software they used.

On Michael Moore, if you're into giving money to a lying, fat scumbag liberal, go ahead. I refuse to give him a dime of my money to support his scummy causes.

It amazes me though, how some susceptible "useful idiots" just drink this piss up and accept it as gospel truth journalism. Then again, a segment of the population also believes contrails are chemtrails, sprayed to poison the populace.

Is there nothing better to do than to analyze these frame by frame. What a waste of time.

Actually someone is getting paid to do it.

Toy plane causes havoc on passenger jet flight path

Aviation authorities in Australia are investigating whether a model plane rigged with a video camera was deliberately flown into the path of a passenger jet.

Experts are examining the footage of the incident which has been posted on the internet.

It's claimed the model plane came within 30 meters of the jet before being sucked into the plane's wake and crashing.

Police have questioned witnesses who say they saw the model plane almost hit the jet.

Perhaps your monitor needs a gamma or contrast adjustment. Its there, below the horizon, with the sun washing out the sky.

Why would someone waste their time faking it? Its fairly unremarkable and quite doable in real life if desired. Paranoid about being tricked? :?
