Maybe your doctor forgot to send it in, call the doctors office and see if it has even been sent for issuance yet.

If it has been sent, I would just call your local transport canada office, ask for the number to the office that issues medicals and ask them whats up.

Which region are you in ?

I got my medical after 2 weeks of it being proceed. And every time I do my medical it takes 2 weeks for me to get the application fee process from transport.

sometimes it takes a while and other times it doesn't take long. Call the doctor or call transport and ask if they have it in the system

I ran into a similar issue, mine took 6 weeks to come back. I just went to my family doctor (or the one who did your medical if you want) and got him to fill out a Cat 4. medical form and took that in to the school and used that for my solo. Then I brought in my Cat 3. when it finally came back.

Call Transport and see if they have a File Number for you, which is your license number you get when your medical paperwork is sent to Transport. An AP can issue the SPP with that upon consulting with Tranport and receiving this number. You don't need the medical with you when you fly solo under your SPP. It does have to be on you when you get your license. When Transport gets your medical paperwork in, the turn around is actually quite quick to get your file set up. Just takes forever for them to mail it.

I did my cat 1 renewal on Mar 11, the TC invoice was dated Apr 24 and it arrived in the mail today May 05,2009. I live in city 60 km west of Toronto (not in the sticks somewhere that starts with fort, port or lake).
