What's with the huge move in AC stock today? Sure there's a rally on Bay Street however it's disproportionate to the lift that Air Canada received.

Insiders privy to a Government announcement regarding foreign ownership caps perhaps?

The increase in the foreign ownership cap is old news. Maybe someone taking advantage of it?

On second thought, maybe ACE taking AC private? Throw ACE's cash into the kitty to keep credit card companies and other such creditors at bay. Much like Aeroplan buying 250,000 seats.

Ah yes, speculation is fun. I believe the surge in share price is due in part to the infamous and highly accurate analyst Kavorkian. What ever he predicts, run the other way.
