So I got the email asking me to re-apply through the new website.
No problem at all but...... got to the site where I have to login with email and password because I had applied before and could not do so. Its probably me getting the email address or password wrong!!
So the question is, can I somehow find out my old profile login details or should I start from scratch?
I'm hesitant to start again as I'm sure WestJet takes into account how long you have been applying to them.
Although I guess starting a new application is better than not having one at all!!
Any advice from someone up to speed with the new recruiting process would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Plim, Thanks for your application!
I would suggest start from scratch. We still have access to all your old applications on workopolis and all internal references are still in place if you pursued any.
We still a few bugs in the application system but they are getting sorted out.
Interviews will be starting again in the fall.
Thanks again,
Dave.

Re: New Application Site (Maybe for DaveP)
I used to show my CV/Resume/Application updates by putting the date of an update on top of the previous update. Any updates to date?
17 June 2009
10 May 2009
5 April 2009
etc
Not sure if there is a place to put this in on the new site.
Good Luck its a great place to be!

Re: New Application Site (Maybe for DaveP)
Hi everyone. Ive been reading posts on this forum for a while now and I am going to finally post a question.
I have been applying for a few years now and recently updated my application on the new website. I know it really helps to have internal recommendations to have a chance to get an interview at WestJet. My problem is, I dont know anyone at the company. I am a Canadian (from Alberta) flying a CRJ in the US for the last 4 years now. I wanted to get the experience of flying a jet and that was the quickest route for me. Now I really want to come home and fly for WestJet. That has been the goal since I started my private lessons in Edmonton many years ago. I meet all the minimums and I have all my Canadian ratings (ATPL) and certificates up to date and patiently waiting for a call. Can someone please direct me in the right direction or help me out in getting my resume looked at and considered? I am desperately trying to get back to Canada...please help a fellow Canadian!! Any advice and help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
