Road Bikes

Post by Doc »

Just picked up a new Cervelo S1. Full Ultegra components, alloy frame etc. So far, so good. Anybody else into this silly, very expensive pastime? Road, TT, etc? Triathlon?

Yup, got a Cannondale R2000 that's about ready to be replaced. You like the Cervelo do you? I'll probably look at full carbon though, but not sure yet.

Ride the roads mostly and go out to the Okanagan once a year to get in a full week of climbing and "rehydration" with some buds. Thinking about joining a few of them in the Vets time-trials. Not quite enough time to train for it right now, but hoping next year will be less work time and more play time.

Quite a year for you - new truck, new motorcycle, new road-bike. Lottery win?

Just got a new Giant Rapid road bike. I don't think it's on the website yet but it replaces the Giant FCR series for 2010.

I work in a Giant/Trek bike shop in my spare time :)

I don't ride on the road but I have a Cannondale F7 MTB. I just took it from here in Hamilton out to Vancouver and rode whistler, banff, etc.

Been looking into road bikes though...
