Caproni hey :D they knew how to wing it in those days...
In Thailand I've flown in Thai 747s between BKK and CNX a few times... not more than 50 minutes flying unless there's a VIP in the air.

The Kash/Albany hop wins, but the biggest that does that is a Dash-8.

Back in the 1980's Wardair ran a 747 YYJ - YVR and then to HNL. They had to put special taxi lines in YYJ so it could make it to the terminal without takeing out the taxi lights.

Emirates DXB-DOH, 50 mins with B777. Regularly scheduled...not a defunct carrier, one-off charter, onward-transit flight. I think JAL does some short high-density flights as well with 747-SP's.

Well that's your clear winner! YYJ - YVR in a 1900 is short enough!

I guess Wardair running CYYJ-CYVR is a winner= 34nm (Great Circle distances)

We do some interesting short-hauls in the A340-300 here at Gulf Air from time to time.

OBBI (Manama, Bahrain) to OEDF (Dammam, Saudi Arabia)= 47nm. I believe it is the shortest, scheduled A340 run in the world! Dammam is the "new" airport, which replaced Gulf Air's operations between OBBI (Manama, Bahrain) and OEDR (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia)= 26nm. I don't know if they used to send the widebodies there, but there are plenty of stories from my colleagues about taking the A320's and Boeing 737-200's back and forth between these city pairs.

We beat Air Canada on their YUL-YYZ runs (274nm) with out own versions:

OBBI (Manama, Bahrain) to OERK (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)= 227nm (just did this one the other day in an A340).

Both Gulf Air and Qatar Airways put all sorts of interesting equipment (A319's, A320's, A321's, A330's, A340's, B-777's) on the OBBI (Manama, Bahrain) to OTBD (Doha, Qatar) sector= 79nm

You'll also see similar jet equipment being run by Gulf Air and Emirates between Bahrain and Dubai= 263nm
