Where is Merlin?
Does anyone know? I'm really curious what he's doing now that he's retired as the TC DGCA.

He is consulting on SMS with a group called DTI out of Atlanta this is the group that has the contract with TC and they brief the industry as well.
Re: Where is Merlin?
Actually, it's only a one-year limitation and the role that A Regulator describes may not even be limiting in this instance:
Values and Ethics Code for the Public Service - Chapter 3: Post-Employment Measures
What was really interesting was when the previous Director General was hired by ALPA shortly after his retirement from the public service at the end of 2001 to become ALPA's Canadian Air Safety and Legislative Coordinator.

Needless to say, he is collecting a pension(on the taxpayer dime, of course) and associated benefits that myself and a good many of you folks on this forum can only dream of getting.

Hey, gotta feel sorry for the guy, no amount of money can buy back your soul.

I notice that the younger of the Taboada brothers, Dennis, or "Mr. T" as he apparently likes to be called, also teaches "Christian-based" maths online.A Regulator wrote:He is consulting on SMS with a group called DTI out of Atlanta this is the group that has the contract with TC and they brief the industry as well.
Do they talk about religion when they teach about SMS?
