Approved Calculators for Written Exam

Post by wxguy »

Hi,
The transport canada website says you may bring an approved calculator or flight computer to your written exam, however it only lists approved flight computers. What types of regular pocket calculators can I bring? Would I be allowed to bring a graphing calculator? Not that I need to graph anything, I just prefer a regular calculator for the non CX-2 type calculations, as it actually shows the equation, not just the answer.
Thanks

If you use one that has a memory, you have to clear it in front of the TC people before and after the exam. Just head there with the calculator you want to use and ask them if you can.
