Really need to do a quick, I really mean quick single engine IFR. Anyone have any advice. The INRAT is done and I have a few more hours then your 200 hour wonder. I would prefer to do it in Ontario or Manitoba. Any advice. An instructor that has some real world experience would kick ass too.

SINGLE IFR
Hello,

Re: SINGLE IFR
ya save your money.. get it when you are in a position to really need it..
I have seen too many friends - get it around then.. and don't ues it for the 2 years, then right after that have to re-learn it all again.. This just happened with one of my friends. We even had a jr pilot at our company this summer had his ifr(but we fly planes that don't even have instruments in them).. he won't use it till he finds an ifr job.
Its nice to have if you do get caught in the soup.. but again do the 180 get out..
Thats my 2 cents.. see what opererators need for you 2 get on there insruance, some are 500 some are more.. find out.. but some do luck in with the 200 hours..

I remember seeing an ad in the COPA newsletter - meaning I have no comment/experience to share other than the link. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but:

Re: SINGLE IFR
St Thomas Flight Centre, south of London, has two IFR C-172s and a couple of IFR Instructors. One of them is usually available for extended periods of time when he is not booked with instructor candidates.
