Photo Info Request

[Dust Devil]

Going through some family photos and I found some from when my old man was drill stem testing up north and was wondering if anyone could shed any info on the pics. They would have been taken in the late 70's early 80's I believe. Not sure of the location. I can't make out the sign on the building. I don't even know if they were taken in the same place.

the third picture, the blue flag I think is Panarctic, so that would be in the High Arctic, maybe Rae Point or somewhere I think that is a Panarctic paint job on the 100 series Twin Otter. (VERY early serial numbers, by the way)There are no trees in the High Arctic, so the take-off picture does not seem to fit.
Pictures 1 and 3 show big tires, fitting an Arctic locale.
The third one looks like it may be an early Kenn Borek paint job, but it is a 200 model which I don't think they ever had. (?)

That is very likely a borek twotter (yes, they've owned/operated 200's) I'll ask a couple of the older gentlemen I know if they recognise the other paint schemes

I checked out Panarctic on Wikipedia and it sounds like the project my dad was a part of. I remember him saying that in addition to oil the discovered a crap ton of natural gas. I think I have some pics somewhere of them flaring it off. He seemed to think natural gas was going to become the big product up there. The trick is figuring out how to get it to the civilization.

I tried copying and zooming but it did not clearly reveal what the black letters say.
The right-angle nature of the buildings certainly look like Rae Point, which was Panarctic's HQ, on the middle of the east coast of Melville Island. I believe it closed by 1980. They also had a couple of dogs to warn of polar bears.
I think the letters say "Panarctic Oils", not a place name.

Not far north of Rae Point was a place where the well blew out and the water coming out built a volcano shape that was there for years after. It was very big.
Then there was the total blow-out on King Island (?) sorry, I don't have a map and Google earth does not know its name, but it ignited and you could navigate by the flare from a hundred miles away.
I landed there one night and on the ground, which shook, it sounded like a hundred steam locomotives were roaring away.

Can't help with the rainbow 200 series, but the Borek otter is at Rae Point. Could be any number of registrations , but DHB with the pointy beak was the YRB base machine for well, like forever.
