Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

The Christmas decorations are up.
Kowalski: Sir, we may be out of fuel.
Skipper: What makes you think that?
Kowalski: We've lost engine one, and engine two is no longer on fire.

Alberta doesn't usually look like that just before Christmas! That is a Centennial Maple Leaf. They were everywhere in 67; even on the money!Darkwing Duck wrote:The Christmas decorations are up.

That restraunt has been turned into a chinese place called bamboo chopsticks. They have a daily lunch smorg which is just unreal. Pretty cheap too, 7.50 the last time I ate there. The building still looks almost identical. The building to the right in the photo has been changed a bit and is occupied by synery accountants and the building to the left in the photo i think a good friend of mine lived in for awhile. hope that help.

What does this have to do with aviation? This is an aviation forum.

It doesn't, but I was interested, and thought that someone from Vegreville might be on. Is that ok with you? I suppose you could petition the moderators to move it to misc if you really felt strongly...

According to the laws of Semiotics, Vegreville can be used in any internet thread-including aviation forums-and automatically be on topic.
I got my class 3 truck driving license in Vegreville-Vegreville is home to the worlds largest Ukranian easter Egg.

Eggs come from birds,.... birds fly, ....airplanes fly.....bingo-bango:On Topic.
(:
Vegreville CEV3 is also the cross country flight test destination from Wetaskiwin
( CEX3) for the ppl.
A Minister of Transport comes from Vegreville....
What else?....hmmmm .....well, for political plum reasons, they moved some immigration centers-from places like Toronto and Vancouver, where there are actually a lot of immigrants [although I don't really believe there is any such place called "Toronto"] -to Vegreville, where there are no immigrants. ahahahaha.
Okay that's enough for the time being.
Now I'm going to go around the internet and put Vegreville into random threads,,,,,,

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that short piece of yellow-painted curb still exists ( or several inexplicably short useless yellow curbs just like it scattered around Vegreville ).North Shore wrote:Does this place still exist?

I parked my Gravel Truck at the curb -in winter for my class 3 road test-and the drivers license examiner guy gave me one wrong.
" How come you gave me one wrong, for that parking job, ?" I asked him.
"There's a no-parking yellow curb here , where you parked"
I said-"There's a foot of snow over the road and the sidewalk-we can't see any pavement or sidewalk-never mind any paint on it" I said.
" Ahahahahaha-I know ...I know..." he said
"everybody gets that one wrong".
