Is Air Canada Hiring? Take2
So without 12 pages of Age 60 garbage, how about back to the topic...again. Perhaps Rockie can just stay off this thread all together.

I agree. That thread was total bullshit. Back on topic. It has been confirmed that AC is recruiting in their training department. Good sign? Possible fall ground schools?

Rockie
if you put half the time you put on avcanada to prepare your retirement maybe you would have a life outside work and could enjoy retirement at 60

Sorry guys no hiring at this time and none for as long as this other topic is still hot.
As much as we all would like to think it wont affect anyone, just think back a couple of years ago when everything was booming because of AC hiring. If this other topic which I agree is crazy and emotional gets passed, then hiring throughtout the country is going to be the same as it is now. Very little. Thats why its so emotional for those still with AC, we know what kind effect it will have on us, those wishing for a job at AC, or for those wishing for their first flying job. This will hurt all of us in the avation industry in Canada. Sorry for the hijack. Just shining some light on whats happening with hiring. And why nothing is happening at this time at AC

600RVR is absolutely spot on. I put it in the other thread that AC would have hired in the fall but for this ongoing nasty business. Depending on the respective authorities decision on the implementation of the finding, there could be some very nasty years ahead for aviation in this country despite claims by a certain group to the contrary. The rich get richer, the poor get................
