Why do you want to be a pilot?

Hello

How should we answer the question "Why do you want to be a pilot?" in an interview?

Should we go for the cheesy one "I love to fly since I was 5.. it's so free to fly like a bird.... blablabla" - which is true... or should we create a slightly more creative story?

In all seriousness, I'd go for the true story, even if its a tad cheesy. Now, you can make things interesting by changing the way you tell it, but those details shall be left to your imagination.

You: "In the cockpit of an airplane, I feel so free. I love the beauty, professionalism, and outright thrill of flying...it is my true passion, my major high. Heck, I love it so much, I'd do it for free"

Them: "Sold! When can you start?"
