Nah In Hay you can make some money because there is no living expenses, only food and Beer.

They've been filming season 2 since around november.

Not chiming in for one side or the other, but I'm curious ... is the filming making it easier or harder to find people? TV boost making more cvs show up, or is it (what I'm assuming) making people afraid to apply?

I think it makes absolutely no difference .. there will always be young people or less young people applying there, it is difficult but if you can take the abuse you might get eventually to fly there enough pilots either quitting or getting fired.
